As our Coffee Shop Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, support and lead our team, and help us deliver an excellent guest experience. You’ll be part of our startup story, shaping systems and culture from the ground up.

- Lead the shop each day with excellence and hospitality

- Order and manage inventory (coffee, supplies, retail)

About the Role

As our Lead Barista, you’re the calm at the heart of the bar. You’ll lead by example during busy shifts, support training of new hires, ensure drinks are consistent, and help create a warm, welcoming environment for both guests and team members.

This role is perfect for someone who’s confident on bar, passionate about coffee, and energized by a team atmosphere. You’ll be a key support to the Manager and help shape the rhythm and culture of the shop.

What You'll Do

- Lead the bar during peak hours with efficiency and kindness
- Maintain drink quality, consistency, and pace
- Help train new baristas on recipes, equipment, and guest experience
- Work closely with the Manager on daily operations
- Keep things clean, organized, and peaceful behind the bar
- Bring good vibes to the team and build trust with regulars

About the Role

As a barista at The District, you’re part of the front-line experience. You’ll prepare espresso drinks and teas, welcome guests with kindness, and keep things running smoothly behind the bar. You don’t need to be a seasoned pro — we’ll train you with care — but we do look for people who work hard, stay calm under pressure, and love serving others.

What You'll Do

- Craft high-quality coffee and tea drinks
- Learn our recipes and brewing methods (including espresso and pour overs)
- Keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized
- Engage guests with warmth and enthusiasm
- Support your team during rushes and slow moments alike
- Occasionally help with light cleaning, stocking, or prep

Morning Barista (Barista 1)
Mon–Sat | 6:30am–12:30pm
Start the day with energy and serve the morning rush crowd

Afternoon Barista (Barista 2)
Mon–Sat | 12:30pm–6:30pm
Keep things flowing through the slower rhythm of the afternoon crowd

As our Morning Cashier, you’ll be the first smile guests see when they walk in the door. You’ll take orders, ring up purchases, help restock items, and keep the front of house running smoothly during the morning rush. If you're a natural people person who enjoys early mornings and a great team atmosphere, this is for you!

What You'll Do
- Greet and serve guests with warmth and efficiency
- Take orders and handle transactions at the register
- Answer questions about our drinks and offerings
- Keep the front counter clean, organized, and welcoming
- Restock retail and prepackaged food displays as needed
- Support the team with small tasks and a great attitude
